MEP Engineering for Cannabis Cultivation Facility – 100,000 SF Indoor Grow Operation
San Diego Cannabis Cultivation Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Design
JSC Engineers provided full Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering design services for a 100,000-square-foot cannabis cultivation and extraction facility. This project required a high-performance, code-compliant design that could support large-scale indoor growing operations while maintaining precise environmental control and energy efficiency.
Our team collaborated closely with the ownership and cultivation operations team to develop a fully integrated MEP system that addressed all critical factors for plant health—temperature, humidity, lighting, CO₂ enrichment, and air movement. We designed a zoned HVAC system capable of meeting the varying needs of vegetative, flowering, drying, and extraction spaces, all while maintaining efficiency and reliability.
JSC Engineers is proud to be a leading provider of MEP design for cannabis cultivation facilities in San Diego and throughout California. Our deep understanding of cultivation workflows, state and local code requirements, and energy-efficient systems allows us to deliver high-performance designs that help growers scale with confidence and stay compliant in a highly regulated industry.
