Fort Leonard Wood – Pippen Youth Center MEP Renovation & Expansion
Military Facility HVAC, Electrical & Plumbing Design
JSC Engineers provided complete Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design services for the expansion and infrastructure upgrade of the Pippen Youth Center at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. This federal project required extensive coordination with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the architectural design team to ensure alignment with military facility standards, energy goals, and long-term performance objectives.
Our engineering scope included the full replacement of the facility’s central chiller and boiler systems, modernizing the HVAC plant to meet current performance, resiliency, and energy efficiency standards. The new systems were designed to support both the existing structure and new additions, delivering year-round occupant comfort and reliable operation.
Electrical and plumbing upgrades were integrated seamlessly with the phased expansion plan, ensuring compatibility with base-wide infrastructure and controls. JSC Engineers developed detailed construction documents, coordinated load schedules, and ensured all work was compliant with UFC (Unified Facilities Criteria), federal specifications, and base security protocols.
This successful project reflects JSC Engineers’ commitment to delivering high-quality, code-compliant MEP solutions for military and government facilities across the country.
