One of our recent projects involved the design of a new 92,000 sq-ft facility for the Knapheide Manufacturing Company in Kansas City, MO. JSC Engineers worked closely with Knapheide to deliver a fully customized Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design solution tailored to their operational needs and long-term performance goals.

In addition to standard facility systems, our scope included specialized design for a paint booth, truck lining booth, and welding stations. These areas required dedicated ventilation, exhaust, electrical, and compressed air systems, all coordinated to meet stringent safety, environmental, and performance standards.

The facility also features high-efficiency HVAC, LED lighting, and industrial-grade plumbing systems that reduce energy consumption and operational costs. Advanced building automation and controls were incorporated to allow Knapheide to monitor and optimize their building performance in real time—improving comfort, safety, and energy efficiency throughout the space.
