JSC Engineers provided delegated design services for the piping support systems as part of the Niwot Sanitation District’s Wastewater Treatment Plant improvements in Niwot, Colorado. Our team performed a complete pipe stress analysis to ensure structural integrity, code compliance, and safe operation under operating conditions.

Using CAESAR II software, we analyzed ductile iron and stainless-steel piping across the Headworks, RAS/WAS Pump Station, Aerobic Digester and EQ Basin, and Dewatering and Aeration Building. Our analysis adhered to ASME B31.3 – 2022 standards and incorporated project-specific load cases. Maximum support loads were captured and used in the design of customized pipe restraints, with all supports engineered to meet a minimum dead load safety factor of 5X per Specification.

Detailed support calculations and load documentation were provided for contractor implementation, helping ensure safe and reliable performance throughout the facility.
